Michael Jackson is to arrive in London, next week, to appear at a lawsuit case, taken against him by an Arab Sheik. Jackson came to a mutual agreement with the Sheikh to take it to court, as it involves up to a settlement of UK£4.7m, and he is a bit stuck for cash at the moment, so couldn't afford a payout. He is to contest the charges against him, but there was a fear that he would not show for unknown health reasons, but his doctors have said he can travel with "suitable dressings". Oh yes, the Michael Jackson pantomime continues, and his financial situation seems to get worse with every twist of this fascinating story. The mystery illness in particular does seem a little suspect, and what his doctor means by "suitable dressings" is anybody's guess. This could be just another ploy by Wacko Jacko's backroom team.

HISTORY OF WACKO'NESS
In the past Jackson has publicly went along with some of the rumours of his craziness on occasion, when it suited. Like when he went along with the image of him sleeping in an oxygen chamber in a tv interview to fit with his image for his then forthcoming sci-fi film "Captain EO". And, when he hinted wrongly that he had bought the bones of the "Elephant Man" after it was suggested to him. Both of these stores were proven to be untrue, but at the time Michael was inclined to fuel speculation that added to his highly lucrative "Wacko Jacko" image. Why he felt the need to do this could only be greed, because he was such a fantastic artist, and could have been more than comfortable with proceeds from his music.

SO, WHATS GOIN ON THIS TIME?
This time Jackson has struck a deal with Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalif, for the Sheikh to bring Jackson to court, to try and sort out a mis-understanding they are having over some cash. Unless you are from Jupiter, you will be aware that Jackson cannot afford any payouts, but that is not the only reason this hasn't been sorted out-of-court. Jackson is also contesting the Sheikh's assumptions.

THE SHEIKH PAID JACKSON'S LEGAL FEE'S
The Sheikh, the second son of the King Of Bahrain, says he paid for Jackson's court fee's in 2005, over the infamous child abuse allegations. He says that he gave the money to Jackson as part of a deal that included them recording an album together, and writing both a play and an autobiography. A $7m advance was written into the recording contract to cover these monies, according to the Sheikh. Jackson was then a guest of the Sheikh's house in Bahrain for 6 months after his court case, and they both maintain that they were close friends until this dispute. The Sheikh says that he has a signed contract that ties Wacko to this deal, and that Jackson had already tried to get him to sign an agreement that would release him from this deal, but that the Sheikh had refused.

SO WHAT NOW?
The case will go ahead at the High Court in London, and Sheikh Abdulla will contest that he gave him all those cash payments as an advance on a music deal, and that because the music deal did not materialise, Jackson should pay back the cash. Jackson will no doubt argue that these were gifts, but if theres a contract, and the Sheikh says he will produce it in court, what chance has Jackson got?

DRAMA IN THE COURTROOM
A song that Wacko & the Sheikh recorded will be played during the court case, so that should add to the drama, but there really shouldn't be any, because there shouldn't be a court case. If he had of managed his fortune a little better, this would probably not have come about. Some accounts say he has spent hundred's of millions. How did he spend all that cash? And 1 final question. Will Jackson will sell UK£4.7m worth of extra records due to the publicity generated by this trial? Especially coming into the Xmas shopping period? Let the show begin!
