Blair To Be Forced To Give
Evidence In Public & Under Oath
Today Gordon Brown's hand will be forced on the issue of an open Iraq war inquiry by the Tories, Liberal Democrats and some of his own backbenchers. What is groundbreaking about this latest pressure is that this may be the start of historic events unfolding which see Tony Blair & co brought to justice over their reasons to enter Iraq, and in the process tear the country and it's people to shreds. Between Tony Blair and George Bush the responsibility lies, and some Labour backbenchers aswell as both opposition parties are willing to turn the screw right now. They want Blair, and Brown for that matter, to give evidence under oath, something they have refused to do up until now, as has the entire US administration. The MPs who are expected to support this motion also want the entire inquiry to be held publicly, and if things keep going as they are, it will be far more investigative than the Blair & Brown camp had ever envisaged. Due to this decision, in the long-term, the lid may just come off the so-called War On Terror and we may finally get to the truth behind that cruel crusade.

HOW BIG IS THIS!
It could not be any bigger than this. This could be the beginning of a process that, for the first time, sees western leaders brought to justice over human rights issues. This war was waged for regime change, to facilitate the hoarding of Iraq's oil, and the invasion of Afghanistan seems like it was no better. That seems to have been done for an oil pipeline. On reflection there was no other reason to invade either countries, and a lot of people are coming to this conclusion. There are so many holes in the official story of 9/11, and Saddam was infact a sworn enemy of Osama, so Blair and Bush would have no reason to link him to Al-Qaeda, as they did do at the time. The reason this whole 'War On Terror' was invented seems a little dubious now, and this decision by the UK's opposition parties and Labour backbenchers may eventually lead to us all having a much more informed view of the reality of the politics involved. Our history books in a few years time may show the likes of Bush, Blair, Brown, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice and the rest of them as being no better than the Nazi's. It seems that a group of oil corporations and other industrialists have been the only ones who have gained, and these wars, or the collective 'War On Terror', has been used as a cash cow for them. And the only tool they needed to follow through with their plan was those politicians mentioned.
SO WHAT'S HAPPENING TODAY?
Today, Wednesday the 24th of June, will see a motion tabled by the Tories leader, David Cameron, with support from both opposition parties and a whole lot of Labour's own backbenchers. This motion will ask for a full and frank inquiry to be held into the reasons behind the Labour government wanting to invade Iraq. It will also ask that the entire inquiry, apart from anything that might endanger the public, be done in the public eye. This is the moment that those who opposed the invasion of Iraq have been waiting for. Brown and Blair were trying to wiggle out of giving evidence publicly - forever - but will now begin to get that ominous feeling that it's all about to come out in the wash. They will need to come up with straight answers or this will be their epilogue. Everything seems a little calm at the moment, but all it will take is 1 person saying 1 thing during the trial to bring the truth to the fore. Then it would be known that Blair & Bush, for whatever exact reasons, initiated a war that was created for profit. This war has possibly killed up to a couple of million, but according to the official figures, atleast a couple of hundred thousand have perished. This was cruel, and the invasion of Iraq has not only given the Iraqi population a hell-like country in many parts, it has upset the whole region, and it has drove a huge wedge between the west and developing countries.
IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF THE MOTION FAILING?
There is a chance of it failing, but it seems fairly certain that those MPs supporting this line of thought will get exactly what they want. This issue seems to have momentum, and the public are taking some notice now too. It is thought that Gordon Brown may try to change things by appealing to his backbenchers who support the motion by saying that the inquiry will be a little more open than he had already promised, but it seems that messing around with the language of politics will not work this time. They want this issue sorted clinically, and not more propaganda-styled 'public' inquiry's. Bush & Cheney only agreed to a "deal" which saw them interviewed 1 time, together, not under oath, and the White House would determine what parts of that meeting could be passed onto the public. No notes were allowed to be taken at that meeting, but it may have to be recalled if the British system can get to the bottom of the Iraq war, because the real story may yet emerge in London.
